Frontier Life Tours

$10 per person (25 person minimum, 140 Maximum)

Frontier life tours take you through the westward movement and the agricultural settling of the Western United States.  Learn about the farming lifestyle that civilized the west.  Our tour takes you through our historic(and Genuine) Log Cabin where your students will learn about everyday life and the necessity of shelter.  The tour has a variety of additional pioneer activities that fit different ages and curriculums.  Some of the activities that we offer are: Butter Churning, Apple Cider Pressing, Horse drawn Hayrides, Candle Dipping, Tin Smithing, Leather Craft, (Spring)Kitchen Garden Planting, (Spring) Orchard walk, Barnyard Animal education,and Horse Sense Education.  Some activities have minimum grade requirements that allow us to provide the best possible experience.

Los Rios Apple Farm Tour

$7 per person (25 person minimum, 200 person maximum)

Los Rios Rancho's School tours involve a walk though one of our many apple orchard on the farm.  This isn't just any walk,  Jonny Appleseed will take your class in tote and lead them to various items of interest in the orchard.  The next activity involves a guided tour through our Packing Barn and some hands on experience with sorting apples.  The last activity is a chance to learn and experience how apple cider is made by hand, a fully hands on experience.  This is the standard set of activities and may be modified with some extra additions.  


Little Seedlings Ranch Tours

$7 per person (25 person minimum, 50 maximum)

Our Little Seedlings Ranch tour is geared towards the youngest students or groups that visit our farm. This tour gives access to our Petting Zoo, the little seedling play area, climb on the hay bale fort, meet Johnny Appleseed, and play in the cloth top cabin.  This option is offered only in Autumn.

Free Apple Packing Tour

Nothing beats free! Come up to the ranch this apple season (Labor Day to Thanksgiving) for our free Apple Packing Tour.  We will take you through the cleaning, sorting, and packaging process that an apple experiences after it is picked and before it arrives in the store to be sold or made into delicious apple cider.  Find answers to apple questions that you have always wanted answers to.


Next to our Large Ciderpress Located at the Back of Our Market Barn.
