Summer is a-comin' in...

...with a whoop and a holler!  We've got cowboy fun for all you buckaroos and buckarettes, whether you're eight, eighty, or anywhere in between.

Movies on the Green

This year enjoy three nights of classic Western movie adventure under the stars.  On July 11, we'll show High Noon, on July 18th it's My Darling Clementine, and on July 25th (the official National Day of the Cowboy), we'll wrap up with Rio Bravo.  So whether you're partial to Cooper, Fonda (Henry, not Jane), or the Duke, there's entertainment aplenty.

We'll start with trivia quizzes, trail music, and Old West costume contests for the kids (of course, you grownups are welcome to wear your cowboy duds, too).  At sundown, watch a cartoon and a silent Western (sound effects by our audience), then on to our feature film.  The best news is it's free

Old West Weekend

August 15th and 16th, we'll have a bang-up Old West Weekend, with a cowboy encampment, Old West gambling tent, sutlers* (vendors, for you city folk), cowboy music, Western authors, and lots more.  Get a new hat, check out shootin' irons from EMF Company and beautiful handgun engraving by Séan McVicker of Stories in Steel, see period clothing from Daughters of Eve, or find a passel of other cowboy (and cowgirl) goods.  It's fun for the whole family, and admission's free.

*For vendor opportunities (period goods only) - call Rose Sanders at (909) 797-1005 or email info@losriosrancho.com

Cowboy Chuckwagon Supper & Show

Chuck

For even more cowboy fun, there's our Chuckwagon Supper & Show on the 15thThere’s no finer way to spend a summer evening than sitting under the stars, listening to "Riley's Regulators" pick and sing cowboy tunes by firelight, and eating a bellyfull of vittles served right off the chuckwagon.  You’ll whoopee-ti-yi-yo all the way home!  Each adult ticket gets you a chance to win a black powder pistol, courtesy of EMF.  Gate opens at 6 p.m.; dinner's at 7 p.m. Tickets go fast, so order today!

More than just an Apple Farm!

Rileys' at Los Rios Rancho is a working apple farm, of course, but it is also a fun destination for the entire family to experience old time music, cooking and cowboy style events in a beautiful country setting.

We have apples, of course - up to 20 varieties, depending upon season; many available for U-pick.

U-pick pumpkin patch and a large selection of picked pumpkins, gourds, and ornamental corn.

A farm store with goodies and gifts for the whole family.

Deli and bakery - the perfect place to pick up a sandwich or a delicious, fresh-baked apple pie!

BBQBBQ (weekends only) serving up slow-roasted tri-tip sandwiches, Polish or chicken apple sausages, roasted corn on the cob, and ranch-style cowboy beans.

Tours and events for private parties. You can book your next party with the Rileys at Los Rios. Let us host you and your guests for an old fashioned Packing Shed Hoedown complete with music from Rileys Mountaineers string band, dancing, and Rileys famous BBQ meal. Great for company picnics, anniversaries, and church group couples events.

Entertainment and special public events throughout the year. Monthly Hometown Jamborees featuring "chicken 'n pickin"; Apple Butter Festival Thanksgiving weekend; and Currier and Ives Christmas in December.
