About our tour Property…

Our Frontier property is an authentic 8 acre family-run farm used for private historical demonstrations and booked events. We proudly employ professional living history interpreters and boast a friendly and hospitable team of tour guides. Our grounds are well manicured and complete with pristine historic-recreation buildings, that provide a beautiful country backdrop for your learning experience

Our Tour property is NOT located at Los Rios Rancho. This a separate property 1/2 a mile down the Road from Los Rios

Group Sizes….

Each tour can accommodate 100-125 guests. If you are booking with a party of less than 25 people, you WILL be added to another party to make a group of approximately 25. This tour takes place almost entirely outside, easily allowing for social distancing. However, if you would like to ensure that there are no other participants taking the tour as part of your group, you must book with 25 guests.

If you will be booking and coming with friends, please book under the same party name to ensure that you will be placed in the same group. We CANNOT place separate parties together after a booking has already been made.

Picnic Grounds…

We have two separate picnicking options. You can either picnic (on our picnic tables) at your tour location, or you picnic at Los Rios. Food purchases are available Los Rios Rancho (tri-tip and BBQ), Wilshire’s Apple Shed (Wood Fired Pizza), or at the Riley’s Farm Tavern (Chicken Pot Pie). You are welcome to bring picnic blankets and a sack lunch. Please do not bring umbrellas, tables, or chairs.

Tour Times…

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour start time to allow plenty of time for check-in. You are welcome to stay for 1 hour following your tour to enjoy our mercantile store and picnic grounds. We are limited on parking, so we do ask that you observe the one hour limit following your tour.

Your tour will start promptly on your selected time. We CANNOT accommodate late arrivals. Tours are non-refundable.

Bathrooms…

We are equipped with several porta-potties that are cleaned regularly and are well stocked
